This new currency has been lurking and crawling around the economy for some time. I'm no economist but it's easy to argue that this new currency has impacted the market, negatively and positively.
Indeed premium items which can only be brought through G-Points gives a normal citizen much more advantage in living everyday life in the New World. Combat Manuals, Soul-Fillers, Hrin's Potions to name a few have been making life better for all citizens. Yet accessibility of these products remains an issue, as it continues to widen the gap between the rich and the poor.
Another issue is the My Bellem's Box which has entered the market recently. Still up to now a certain segment of the population [PH players] are not able to access the said products. Causing major income imbalances between citizens.
G-Points are a force of the good in the long run but the fast changes it brings to the new lands may surprise the people. We must be cautious in its implementation in the new world. Change is good but change which is too fast maybe disruptive.
Division because of the G's? Improbable but still possible. With the new currency introduced, bitter rivalries and old age vendettas might be renewed all for the sake of money. Will Simon Ayende's dream of a united Granado Espada come to fruition, only time can tell. No better way to judge the people view on this than the upcoming event by Idge.
